Crystal Healing – Crystals for Fertility

by Ron & Sue Windred on August 12, 2013

Crystals to assist with fertility:

Any of the following crystals would be totally suitable as fertility stones for either gender and are quite interchangeable, but certain crystals have a stronger affiliation to feminine or masculine energies making them a little more gender suitable.

Increasing female fertility – The following stones are universally recognized for their connection with fertility and reproduction: Atacamite, Carnelian, Chrysocolla, Gaia Stone, Jade, Moonstone, Rainbow Moonstone, Orange Sapphire, Rose Quartz, Rhodochrosite, Boji Stone (use the smooth, female stone), Rhodonite and Ruby in Zoisite. For this purpose, egg shaped crystals would enhance this energy, but these are not necessary.*

Increasing male fertility – The following stones are connected with fertility and masculine energy: Pyrite, Shiva Lingam, Limonite, Boji Stone (use the rough, male stone), Pietersite, Blue Tiger’s Eye (also known as Hawk’s Eye), Red Aventurine, Rutilated Quartz and Gold.*

The Boji Stones may also be used together; in fact keeping them united has many additional advantages.

Unakite and Moss Agate are wonderful for harmonizing and balancing the reproductive system. Red Tourmaline (Rubellite) and Tiger Eye are useful for treating disorders of the reproductive system, they help to stimulate the reproductive system and these stones could also be considered as fertility support stones.

There are several ways in which you can use these crystals:

You can simply carry a tumbled stone or two in your pocket or place it under your pillow. Or you could tape a selected stone to your abdomen. (Micropore is best for this purpose).

Wearing crystals can be of great assistance. For instance, a Carnelian, Rose Quartz, or any of the above, as pendants touching the skin will help to infuse the body with their energy which helps to improve the conditions for fertility to occur. You could also wear a tumble stone contained in a wire cage.

Try charging some water (making an elixir) with Carnelian and/or Rose Quartz. Both you and your partner can drink this water daily. Any of the other stones listed may be used as well. If you are uncertain about any of the stones being in water or their chemistry, it is best place the crystals outside of and around the container of water, or in a glass placed into the water.

You can also set a fertility grid in your home; under your bed, or on a special table, etc. Choose the stones from the list that you resonate with and place them in a circle. In the middle you could add pictures of you and your partner, or place baby objects like a rattle or whatever you feel expresses your intention the best. Add a few Clear Quartz Points or tumbles too, as these help to amplify the energy of the other crystals as well as your purpose for the grid.

Crystal Grid made using: Rose Quartz Egg, Carnelian Egg, Rainbow Moonstone Egg, Jade Egg, Shiva Lingam, Chryscolla, Moonstone, Clear Quartz Points with some baby Booties in the middle.

Create a fertility pack consisting of a selection of stones chosen from the list above placed in a small bag or pouch. We have a readymade fertility pack available, consisting of, Rose Quartz, Moonstone, Tektite, Sceptre Quartz, Red Jasper and Rhodonite.

You may like to keep this pack in your pocket, or purse, and under your pillow while you sleep – just to keep the good vibes close by all the time. Or simply rest with the stones on your stomach or Sacral area, or over your ovaries for 15 to 20 minutes a day, or you may hold them while meditating.

We often hear the terms “getting clucky” and “nesting” and this idea may well appeal to many women, create a “nest” for your fertility stones. Take a small basket or some other suitable container and line it with something suitable like soft fabrics to create a nest, or even use a discarded real nest, as you would find in nature and place your selection of stones into the nest. Then, place the nest in a place of prominence where it will be able to inspire you daily.*

Laying on of Stones

You may prefer to use a crystal layout and session on a regular basis to help you boost fertility and increase your chances of conception. Choose crystals from the list above and add others if you wish to your layout and rest with them for about twenty minutes.

In a quiet comfortable environment, lie down and place stones as your intuition directs or match them to your chakras as appropriate.

Or you might like to try this example:

Crystal Layout for fertility:
Place a Unakite below your feet (Earth Star Chakra).
A Moss Agate either side of your pelvic area, sitting in the crease at the top of your thighs and a Garnet on your pubic bone (Base Chakra).
A Carnelian either side of and just below your belly button (Sacral Chakra).
Jade placed just below your sternum (Solar Plexus Chakra).
Rose Quartz located in the middle of your chest over your heart (Heart Chakra).
Chrysocolla lying in the hollow of your throat (Throat Chakra).
A Blue Tigers Eye placed over your Third Eye Chakra, just above and between your eyes.
A Clear Quartz positioned at the top of your head (Crown Chakra).
Hold a Moonstone in each hand and rest them on your abdomen over the Carnelians.
Simply relax and contemplate for 10-20 mins regularly in this layout.

Assistance with conception

If fertility is not the problem but assistance with conception is being sort, then this can be best achieved with Moonstone. Red Coral is an excellent aid to conception as well as supporting healing for the ovaries and fallopian tubes and stimulating ovulation. A Clear Quartz point or tumble stone may be specifically programmed or charged with assisting in this task may also be helpful.
