Quick view – Christmas Featured Products – My top six ways to de-stress for free – Inspirational Quotes – Facebook market/sale

Hello and welcome to another MyCrystalaura® communiqué.

Crystals really are the universal gift and with Christmas closing in they can be a real blessing when it comes to completing your gift requirements. Along with all the other products we supply you should be able to fill in something for everyone, even the cynical among your friends.

This week our featured products section will be devoted to gift ideas and to give you some inspiration we thought we would share a part of our shopping list.

We have a friend who in spite of his sarcasm continues to be a friend and despite his scepticism he always admires our Himalayan Salt Lamps; so salt lamp usbwhat better gift for him, than a Salt Lamp.

A business colleague has had a rough year, especially with cash flow and money management, so we are sure he would appreciate the beauty and the key benefits from a Citrine cluster or any Citrine crystal.

An associate has just lost her partner and has some important decisions to make about her personal and business future and coincidentally her favourite colour is tawny gold, so all the properties of Amber can come to her aid, while she takes delight in a gift in her favourite shade.

A family member loves to go all out and fuss about to create another ‘perfect Christmas’, but she gets so stressed in the process that she doesn’t Amethyst cluster notice she gets a bit crabby, so this year we will give her an Amethyst cluster, supposedly to decorate her family room, but we really know it is to soothe things down a little.

Just about any kid would love a start or an addition to their rock collection. A couple of youngsters we know will get a fishing tackle box filled with a variety of tumbled stones.

A teenager close and dear to us has recently been getting into a few things esoteric, so to help open his mind a little further we thought he could benefit from a Platonic Solids set and start to explore sacred geometry.

A business friend has a nervous disposition and he is required to spend considerable time on the phone, so his gift will be a bowl of fairy crystals so he can keep them next to the phone and play in them while he talks. Running his fingers through them is calming and healing at the same time.

Some of our friends are into ‘all natural’, but not necessarily into crystals, so we will give them a few cakes of Hand Made Soap.

One young lady and a couple of older aunts absolutely love Spiritual Sky Perfumed Oils, so you don’t need to guess what they will find under their tree. In fact anyone who appreciates fine fragrance would welcome this gift.

Speaking of fragrance, lots of people these days burn incense just for its sensual aromas. One friend of ours uses it to cover up for his dog. I guess we just solved his present.

An Agate slice makes for an ideal decorating piece even without considering its magical healing properties, so it make a fine gift for those we know who understand crystals and some of whom just aren’t all that in to them for healing. We gave one to a retired friend a couple of years ago and it has pride of place in the middle of her dining table, where it not only looks good, it doubles as her teapot stand.

Most people love stones for their natural beauty and appeal, even though they may not be into crystal healing, so don’t be deterred from using them as gifts. Not all of our family and friends are into the same things we are, but not one has ever been put off by our giving them these thoughtful and loving gifts.

And for all our friends who are into health and love food and cooking, we will include a packet of Himalayan Crystal Salt.

Of course, some of them will find an accompanying bottle of wine or a box of chocolates or whatever to round out and complete their gift and make it as special as possible.

We hope this has given you some ideas for gifts for your family, friends and business associates.

MY TOP SIX WAYS TO DE-STRESS FOR FREE

It’s so easy to get caught up and strung-out in the rat race of life. But you just need to engage in simple things to help you unwind.

  1. Just Breathe. Breathing deep from your diaphragm signals your body and nervous system to relax.
  2. Be Mindful. Instead of thinking about the past or the future, try to keep your mind in the present. Research suggests that this can seriously bust stress levels.
  3. Walk. Walking for just twenty to thirty minutes a day in a brisk but relaxed fashion can release built up tension from your muscles and nervous system.
  4. Laugh. Notice how much lighter you feel when you have a laugh. Humor can be a great coping mechanism for stress and research shows laughing can stimulate circulation and muscle relaxation.
  5. Stop Multi-tasking. It might feel like a necessity, but multi-tasking can just lead to mistakes and over-stimulate your senses. Make a list and stick to it and turn off your high-tech gadgets for at least a couple of hours a day.
  6. Hold a touchstone. Carry a special crystal with you at all times and when you feel yourself starting to stress-out, reach for it and play with it in your hand. This acts as a trigger to start you relaxing and as you continue it helps you to do so even more.

Six Great Crystals to Help Reduce Stress are; Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Citrine, Lepidolite, Muscovite and Rose Quartz.

One of my best touchstones is a common pebble I picked up off the beach years ago.
