Christmas Crystals

Christmas, regardless of our religious connections is universally celebrated as a time of peace and goodwill between all and to all. It is a time of Delight and Celebration, of Love, of Hope and the coming together of people everywhere.Red and Green Gift Holiday Gift Bag

Christmas opens us to an optimistic view of the future, because if we can behave like this for a few days then there is hope that we may eventually act like this all of the time.

We generally allow ourselves to operate from a higher vibration at Christmas; we are friendlier, we smile and acknowledge others more and they do so in return. Christmas carols fill the air and you hear people singing and humming along as we join in the reverie. A time of giving and receiving that for most of us is a great time of year.

Imagine if this was our normal day to day experience and wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could convey these feelings and actions into our regular daily practice? Well we can! There are Crystals that help to impart the very things that make Christmas so special into our normal activities.

These crystals may be used to boost our emotions over Christmas, but more importantly, may be used to maintain the feeling and its energy throughout the year.

Compassion: Angelite, Aventurine, Kyanite, Lapis Lazuli, Moldavite, Petalite, Rhodochrosite, Tourmaline.

For some of us Christmas is not the time of joy, love and happiness that we may want it to be. Perhaps it is a period of loneliness, depression and quiet desperation. Too many of us allow ourselves to be overworked, stressed and overstretched financially; if you find yourself in this plight, the stones below may well contribute to relieving and overcoming these troubles.

Loneliness: Aragonite, Carnelian, Paua Shell, Snowflake Obsidian, Green Garnet (Uvarovite).

Sadness: Amethyst, Azurite, Red Jasper, Ruby, Sodalite.

Stress: Amber, Ametrine, Beryl, Charoite, Celestite, Jasper, Moonstone, Onyx, Staurolite.

Depression: Apatite, Botswana Agate, Carnelian, Kunzite, Lepidolite, Rutilated Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Sunstone, Tiger Eye.

Despair: Iron Pyrite, Serpentine, Sugilite, Variscite.

Overwhelment: Aquamarine, Gold, Jade.

Anxiety: Green Calcite, Kunzite, Hematite, Labradorite, Moonstone.

Whatever our circumstances this Christmas, one or more of the stones above can help us to make it a whole lot more enjoyable. In addition to the stones mentioned above there are others that would also be quite suitable, and if you are aware of them you may choose to use them instead, and of course many of them deal with other emotions and/or qualities as well.  You may just choose to carry or wear a single crystal to enhance or repair a particular characteristic, or you could select a few, or you may use a Crystal Healing Grid using a number of Crystals to heal several things at once. Ball and Bow

Using crystals in a positive and supporting way can not only improve our lives and enhance our experience of Christmas or improve our circumstance, but we can use them to keep the best qualities of this time of year and to support us throughout the rest of our lives as well.
